Build career skills in graphic design, filmmaking, and media.

I teach all levels of the Graphic Design and Film Production pathways under the Arts, A/V Technology, and Communications group. My courses help students turn creativity into career-ready skills through hands-on learning, real-world tools, and professional standards. I also teach Dramatic Writing, an embedded English course where students earn credit for both Film Production Applications and ELA. In addition, I serve as the SkillsUSA advisor, supporting student leadership and technical excellence through competitions. Before teaching, I worked in media, design, and marketing. I hold an AAS in Visual Arts, a BS in Marketing and Communication, a Master's in Executive Leadership, and a second Master's in Education and Communication. I've been married for over 23 years and have two college-aged kids—one recently graduated with a Biology degree from ABAC, and one is studying Neuroscience and Linguistics at Georgia Tech. My husband is a veteran and currently works in law enforcement, and we've spent over two decades raising our family with a shared commitment to service and resilience. We share our home with our two pugs. I enjoy collecting rocks and fossils, observing design trends, and thinking about how creativity shapes the way we understand and communicate with the world.
